Dennis Wayne Carson joined our Lord and Savior in Heaven on September 26, 2022 in his home surrounded by family. Denny succumbed to his sudden and unexpected fight with cancer and is now parading pain and care free with Janell in God's glory. He was 67 years old. Denny was born at the Council Grove Hospital to Bernard and Elsie (Koepsel) Carson November 6, 1954. He was the oldest of 8 children. He attended White City School graduating in 1972. He went on to attend Manhattan Area Technical College for auto mechanics receiving certification in May of 1973. Denny returned to the family farm where he would help his father, Bernard, and siblings and then later brother, John, run the family farm and dairy for 49 years until his passing. Denny loved working on cars and hot rod toys. It's been said you couldn't even begin to list them all. He could also sniff out any good ol' farm auction and you could bet he was gonna find a good deal on something to drag home. He loved his family strongly and he was always the life and entertainer of the party. He was known for his infectious smile and huge heart. He was caring, kind, would bail anyone out of trouble, and was always willing to lend a hand. He loved playing with and teasing all the kids. He stayed youthful in spirit until the very end. He met the love of his life, Janell Marie Cappel, in 2005. They were married on November 10, 2007 and loved each other unconditionally until her passing in 2017. Denny sought comfort for the loss of Janell from family members and long time best friend Randy Kasten.
Denny is survived by sister Mary (Dale) Burnett of Wilsey, KS and brothers Greg Carson of White City, KS; John Carson of White City, KS; Steve (Jenny) Carson of White City, KS; Randy (Denise) Carson of Lindsborg, KS; David (Diane) Carson of Minneapolis, KS; sister in law Kathleen Spresser of Herington, KS; and brother in law Bruce Cappel of Granite Falls, WA. 17 nieces and nephews and 31 great nieces and nephews, cousins (57 original some have passed) and many many extended family members and close friends.
