Jon C. Neumayer passed away at his home, on February 4, 2025. Jon was born on August 28th, 1940 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Howard and Wilma Neumayer. Jon graduated from Braman, Oklahoma. Jon retired from Debrick Trucklines, of Paola, KS, November 2019, after being an Owner Operator Truck Driver for many years. Jon moved to Council Grove in 1978 from Madison, Kansas where he was with his family for several years. Jon worked at Ray's Apple Market part-time after retiring as an Owner Operator, until his last cancer surgery. Jon is survived by his wife of the home, Shirley Neumayer.
Preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Wilma Neumayer.
Survived by his Sister, Vicki Shewmaker (spouse David Shewmaker) from Raymondville, TX.
Also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, from his first marriage, Donna Adams (Council Grove, KS) are Rhonda Neumayer, (Oklahoma City, OK) Ronald Neumayer, (Pretty Prairie, KS) Renae Gensman (husband Brian Gensman) (Wilsey, KS) and Robert Neumayer (wife Cynthia Neumayer) (Deer Creek, OK). Grandchildren: Nicole Hewitt (James Hewitt), Caroline Hadley (Mitchell Hadley), Jerod Neumayer, Ricki Gensman (Trey Hughes), Brooke Woolery (Harold Woolery, Jr.). Great Grandchildren: Kayden Hewitt, Cambree Hadley, Sophie Neumayer, Jayla Hewitt, Charlotte Graber, Chloe Hadley, Madalynn Duke, Maverick Hadley, Alexis Duke and Kasen Hughes.
Jon loved God, his family and friends, loved his driving career, fish and hunt. He was a Cancer survivor until the end. Any donations can be donated to the "Friends Helping Friends" at https://friendshelpingfriends.net/
Celebration of life, will be at the Flint Hills Apostolic Church, Saturday, February 15th, 2:00 p.m.
