Justen David Campbell, 45, Council Grove, KS, lost his courageous battle to cancer on Sunday, October 30th, 2022.
Justen was born to David & Rebecca (Pape) Campbell on May 17th, 1977, in Gardner, KS. He attended grade school at Dwight, KS and later moved to CG where he attended middle school and graduated from Council Grove High School in 1995. He attended Butler County Community College before coming home to work for the family Business, Campbell & Sons, where he found his passion and talent for Carpentry and had many satisfied customers in Council Grove and the surrounding areas. He loved all the people he worked for, and they loved him in return. He worked hard until January 2021 when the cancer became too painful and aggressive. He fought a hard 22-month battle until passing peacefully at home surrounded by family.
In 1997 he became a father for the first time to his son, Brandon. In 2006 he married his beloved wife, Jessi Adams, and gained three more children, Jeth, Hunter, and Ashton. He loved them and raised them as his own. Thirteen years later Justen and Jessi would welcome a surprise blessing, Johnny, to the family. Justen was a great Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend to all that loved him. He was so proud of his family and their accomplishments.
Justen is proceeded in death by his brother, Richard Campbell, Grandma, Flo Kabus, and Grandpa Ralph Moutz.
Justen is survived by his wife Jessi and son Johnny of the home; Son, Brandon Campbell, of Council Grove; Son, Jeth Brakenhoff and wife Maranda, Grandchildren, Elowyn, Ophelia, and Florence, of Meriden, KS; Daughter, Hunter Jones, husband Corbin, Grandchildren, Zayne, Campbell, and Emery, of Alta Vista, KS; Son, Ashton Nelson and girlfriend Zoe of Council Grove; Parents David & Rebecca Campbell of Council Grove; and Brother, Neil Campbell, wife Nonce, Grandchildren Faith & Thomas of Council Grove.
