Patricia May Valdez

Patricia Valdez, 79, from Emporia,KS passed away Friday February 7 after a lifetime of health issues and ailments. Her last battle was with diabetes. Her beloved dog Angel (15) joined her in death within hours. 

Patricia came in to this world August 20,1945 as Patricia May Williams, the daughter of Orville and Ruth Williams from Dunlap, KS. She faced many hardships in her life. She loved, she lost, she fought, she'd give your her opinion even if you didn't ask for it or want it. She was a fighter too the end. 

Patricia is survived by her son, Shannon Chavez (Emporia) and daughters Pamela Matthews (Wichita), Stacy Hill (Kansas City). She is also survived by her brothers Richard Williams and David Williams (Emporia). She is preceeded in death by her parents, her brother Dean Williams and her children Donnie, Angela, Paul and Patrick. 

Cremation is planned. She will then be lain to rest in Council Grove at Greenwood Cemetary.

Sadly, she passed without the ability to cover expenses that have come as a result of her passing, a memorial fund to help with expenses has been set up.
