Scott’s life began on April 23, 1974, in Enid, OK. He is the son of Richard and Karen J. (Divelbiss) Washburn. Scott graduated from Northern Heights High School in Allen KS. He was a business owner and entrepreneur, buying and selling collectables and antiques. Scott’s greatest joy was his son Zavior and his nieces and nephews, who he loved deeply. He was also an avid collector of action figures, collectable toys and antiques. Scott loved to sing, collect, and most of all be around family, bringing a smile to everyone he was around. Scott is loved very much and will be truly missed by everyone. His loving family includes his mother Karen Washburn of Hayesville, KS, son Zavier Divelbiss and his grand daughter of Derby, KS, grandparents Ray and Mary Hall of Council Grove, KS, siblings Richard Wasburn, Jr. And wife Angela Washburn of Rogers, AR, James Washburn of Council Grove, KS, and Jeremiah Washburn of Rogers, AR, nieces and nephews Destinee Washburn, Serenity Washburn, Jocelyne Washburn, Nautica Washburn, William Shirey, Annabella Shirey, Alexandria Washburn, Juliette Shirey, Sammuel Shirey and  Scarlett Washburn along with many loving Aunt's, Uncles and cousins. Scott passed away on Monday May 1, 2023, at St. Francis Specialty Hospital in Wichita. He is preceded in death by his father Richard Washburn. His family will gather with friends on Saturday, May 20th at 12:00 p.m. for a graveside service celebrating his life which will be held at Four Mile Cemetery, Council Grove, KS. Memorial contributions in Scott’s name may be directed to the Kansas Health Foundation in care of the funeral home.
