Virginia M. Clark, 88, of Lawton, Oklahoma and Council Grove, Kansas passed away peacefully at her home on November 21, 2024.

She was born on October 3, 1936, in Keats, Kansas to Michael and Ann (Thorp) Hannan. Virginia graduated from Medicine Lodge High School. She married Curtis Leroy Clark on July 5, 1956. To that union they had four children. Virginia worked several years as a Med Aide in nursing homes in Kansas and Oklahoma. She enjoyed gardening and took great pride in her yard.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Michael Hannan, her son, Michael Clark, and her husband, Curtis.

After the loss of her husband of 51 years, she moved to Council Grove to be close to her daughter. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Council Grove. She later moved to Lawton to be near her son.

Virginia is survived by her daughters, Debra Carson and significant other, Gary, of Kirksville, MO; and Barbara Goodman and husband, Fred of Council Grove, KS; her sons, Curtis Clark, Jr and wife, Belen, of Las Vagas, Nevada and John Clark and wife, Agreda, of Fletcher, OK; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Virginia's life will be held from 1:00PM-3:00PM on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 483 K Avenue, Council Grove, KS, 66846.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Council Grove, Kansas or to the Complete Health and Hospice, of Lawton, OK.
